We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to ensure the timely shipping and delivery of fine art to and from one of the nation's oldest and respected fine arts shipping company, serving many of the greatest American museums, galleries and collectors.
Responsibilities:
Execute estimate requests in a timely manner, coordinate and schedule shipments with dispatch and crating departments. Produce documents for shipping and customs, prepare completed documents to submit to finance department for invoicing.
Qualifications:
College degree with at least 2-3 years of fine arts industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of logistics, including current fine arts packing methods, and transportation methods helpful.
Must have a calm and steady demeanor under pressure, be able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. Must have excellent computer, communication and organizational skills, be able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
