Registrar (Full-time)
Corporate Art Collection - New York, NY

Administrative responsibilities:

• Office management, tracking project costs and submitting invoice payment
• Maintaining department budget
• Helping with preparations for both internal and external events and meetings
• Maintaining listserv and conducting mailings

Registrar responsibilities:

• Active management of inventory in storage
• Maintaining TMS database with updated art locations and digital images
• Running reports and presentations at direction of Art Curator
• Coordinating the packing and shipping of all artworks for branch offices, loans and exhibitions
• Evaluating condition of artworks and tracking re-framing in and out
• Assist in preparation and installation of on-site exhibitions
• Participate in all aspects of day to day management of art collection

Qualifications:

• Registrar and TMS experience
• Bachelors degree
• General knowledge of contemporary art
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
• A team player who works well with others to complete tasks and activities
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with a wide range of people
