The Portico Group seeks a creative and experienced Aquarium Exhibit Designer or Zoo Exhibit Designer. The position requires a strong understanding of aquarium or zoological exhibit design. A background in architecture, landscape architecture or interpretive exhibit design is required.
Job Requirements
Position Requirements include:
- Ability to design live aquarium exhibits or live animal exhibits.
- A working knowledge of artificial rockwork, landforms, water features, interpretive
exhibits and tank design or viewing structure design.
- Presentation drawing and sketching skills, with fluency in the use of AutoCAD.
- Experience with large scale projects.
- A proven ability to develop and review clear and concise construction drawings.
- A minimum of four years aquarium or zoo design experience.
- Professional licensure is a plus.
