Senior Museum Preparator

Salary: $51,610.00 - $62,712.00
SFO Museum seeks Senior Museum Preparators to perform and oversee a wide variety of duties for exhibitions, including design and construction of metal, wood, and plex mounts, risers and decks; installation and arrangement of exhibits; and packing and unpacking artworks.
SFO Museum produces approximately forty exhibits annually on themes of art, history, science, and culture, and features over twenty galleries throughout the Airport. Requirements:
Two years of experience in the preparation, installation, deinstallation and the care of valuable objects at a museum/gallery; AND Associate’s degree or higher with major course work in art, museum studies or related fields. 5 years of experience is desired.
