The Autry seeks a Lead Preparator to plan and oversee the production of all exhibition furniture and casework, and construction of gallery spaces. The Lead Preparator aids in hiring and training of prep crew and delegates and supervises daily and weekly tasks. Attends planning meetings, interprets design materials, prioritizes and maintains supply inventory and organization. Oversees all work and storage spaces, develops and implements the maintenance of all equipment and tools, and maintains safety protocols.
