Under direct supervision and usually as part of a team repair, fabricate, install and deinstall duties. Reports to Crew Leader, Production Supervisor, or Production Manager as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clean, repair and refurbish existing exhibitions, displays and properties including mounting and dismounting artifacts
Assist in fabricating, assembling, installing, dismantling and moving of exhibition properties, structures and related materials
May participate in the building of prototypes, samples, and models.
May be assigned to one or more specialized production areas, including mount-making, construction, ;lighting etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Museum, industrial or commercial shop or gallery experience helpful
Experience working in a collaborative environment
Must pass medical evaluation to wear a respirator
Knowledge of fabrication processes
HS diploma or equivalent
