ArtWorks San Diego is the only company in San Diego offering museum-quality storage, installation and art handling services. Now celebrating it tenth year in business, AWSD offers installation, rigging, crating and transportation services for museums, private collectors, galleries and auction houses.
AWSD has a full-time staff of 12, three delivery trucks, and a 20,000 SF warehouse offering climate and humidity controlled storage and a full-service crate shop.
We are seeking to fill two full-time positions for art handlers. Responsibilities include onsite packing, local transport, installation, and storage maintenance. Experience in professional practices for object care and handling is a must. Working knowledge of hand and power tools, familiarity with a variety of installation materials, a clean driving record, and the ability to work collaboratively and follow directions is required.
Successful applicants will be required to pass a TSA background check. Salary DOE
