Artech, the region's premier provider of Fine Art Logistics, Fine Art Care, and Collection Management Services is recruiting a qualified manager for our Fine Art Framing department.

This position has overall P&L management responsibility for this $900,000+/year division.
*Development and management of departmental objectives in relation to company-wide objectives
*Management of direct and indirect costs (including capital costs)
*Developing and meeting/exceeding sales, revenue, and profitability targets
*Marketing and direct sales
*Personnel management in an MBO environment
*Policy/procedure/process/automated support system definition and implementation

Overall responsibility for the frameshop sales function including sales of the full range of Artech services

Overall responsibility for the management of frameshop production

Overall responsibility for product line including identification of new revenue streams and product development/innovation

Overall responsibility for customer relations relative to frameshop customers and shared responsibilities, as defined, for other Artech customers. Additionally the Frameshop Manager may have account management responsibilities for specific named accounts.

The Frameshop Manager has line management responsibility for approximately 8 FTE.
This position is a part of Artech's senior management team and as such can have an impact on the direction and success of the overall business.

The position requires demonstrated management, financial, and customer relations skills in addition to depth knowledge of the framing industry including extensive knowledge of conservation framing materials and practices, a basic knowledge of woodworking and fine finishes, as well as knowledge and aptitude for 2D and 3D design as applied to art display.

Salary: DOE with performance bonus potential

Artech provides Medical/Dental/Vision insurance with a 20% employee contribution. Additionally Artech provides a 401k program with a partial company matching contribution and is moving towards employee ownership through an ESOP.
