This is responsible professional work in maintaining a collection of works of art for exhibitions. Work involves preparing a variety of artistic materials for display, sorting objects not on display, and assisting with preparing works of art arriving and leaving the museum. Is responsible for monitoring the condition of collection artworks in storage and on display.

An employee allocated to this class of work coordinates activities closely with the curators, guest curators and registrar of the museum. Work is reviewed by the museum director through the observation of results obtained.
