Registrar/Art Handler

Contemporary Art Gallery in Chelsea seeks full time Registrar/Art Handler.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of previous experience working at an art gallery or museum as a registrar or preparator
- Experience organizing international shipments
- Proficiency in Artbase, MS Office and Photoshop
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Impeccable packing and wrapping skills
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inventory record management
- Consignments and Loans
- Packing and shipping art domestically and internationally
- Condition reports
- Installing artwork
- Managing freelance assistants
Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits offered.
