The Sciencenter, a hands-on science museum in Ithaca, NY, seeks an enthusiastic individual with interactive science exhibit and leadership experience to serve as Director of Exhibits.
As Director of Exhibits, you will lead the Sciencenter’s exhibits team by overseeing department planning and related projects and programs, and by overseeing the care of our facilities. You will also serve as primary exhibit developer for both onsite and traveling exhibition projects and serve on the museum’s senior management team.
Excellent communication skills are required, as well as a passion for connecting children with science, and for working with and serving a wide variety of people.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time (40 hours/week) exempt position that includes full Sciencenter benefits.
