The Park City Museum has an immediate opening for an Inventory Project Position. The successful candidate’s central task will be to complete an inventory of the Museum’s photographic and archival collections under the supervision of the Curator. He or she will be responsible for positively identifying museum photographs, archives, and objects, verifying object locations and accession paperwork, and recording findings on collection inventory forms and in PastPerfect. He or she will also identify storage issues, scan and digitize as needed, re-house material appropriately, and attempt to solve numbering and cataloging problems. The Inventory Project Position is a temporary, 12-month position, 35 hours per week with an hourly wage of $12.00. There will be a probationary period of three months. Preferred start date is May 12, 2014 (negotiable). Typical work week will be Monday – Friday; will be required to stay until closing at 7:00 pm one night per week, and work one Saturday a month.
