THE INVITATION
Looking for something unusual to do on a Saturday morning? Join us for this unique behind the scenes tour of The Broad on April 16th. This tour gives you the opportunity to experience one of the newest art museums in Los Angeles. The tour kicks off with a social gathering on the loading dock before moving into the tour of the collections storage areas and then into the exhibit galleries. Don’t miss this chance to mingle and network with other collection care professionals in this exciting new fine arts venue.
Our host will be Julia Latané, the Broad’s Head Preparator and Vice Chair of the PACCIN Programs Committee. Julia was a panel member at the PACCIN summit in New Orleans last year as well as speaker at the third Preparators conference held in September of 2013 at the Campbell Center in Mt Carroll, Illinois.
Co-hosting with Julia is Kevin Marshall, Head of the Preparation department at the Getty Museum. He is a member of the PACCIN board of directors and the Programs Committee Chair who organized of many of the PACCIN programs in the past.
