2023 End of the Year Message: Looking Back/Moving Forward

On behalf of all of us at PACCIN, I would like to thank you and everyone who supported us this year including our many sponsors! Your memberships and generous donations helped us provide many valuable programs to the collections care community. This past year, we had over 100 people attend the EU Rigging Workshop in the Netherlands, and we established a sustainability resources page and forum group on our website. Our recent webinar on Crating, Packing & Sustainability was well attended with 400+ people tuned in over three days, free of charge. The webinar video recordings will be made available in early 2024.

Looking ahead, the 2024 Preparators Conference will be at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri (May 15-17, 2024). The request for speaker proposals is now posted on the website here. Deadline is February 15, 2024. Registration will be coming soon, so stay tuned.
