Picture Framer/Preparator, Alexandria,VA 2/19/18

Archival Art Services is seeking full time and part time applicants to provide picture framing and exhibition preparation in our studio located in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidates will possess the following levels of experience and attributes:
• Previous professional experience at either commercial or museum level
• Knowledge of art history, art and photographic materials and methods
• Knowledge of archival methods and experience related to matting, hinging, glazing and fitting of works on paper.
• Experience in framing and mounting of works on canvas and textiles
• Basic computer operating experience
