The Assistant Registrar will contribute to all areas of collection management and exhibition registration, with particular focus on the museum's collections database, TMS. The incumbent will serve as core team member in the management of TMS, often working with student employees and interns on database-related projects and assisting other staff with the database. Responsible for smaller temporary and traveling exhibitions, including processing loan forms; making shipping, crating and courier arrangements; scheduling; budgeting; condition reporting; supervising installations and deinstallations; and traveling with exhibitions as needed. Support collection-related projects including processing and scheduling outgoing loans and yearly inventories and condition reporting. Assist with digital images for exhibition related projects. The incumbent will also prepare the monthly condition reviews of the Franklin D. Murphy sculpture garden on UCLA's campus.
