Characteristics
A lightweight structural panel made of a rigid polystyrene foam core with moisture resistant, man-made wood fiber veneer exterior. It is available in 3/16 to 1˝ inch thicknesses. The most common thickness being 1/2 inch. It is not normally consideredd an archival material.

Commonly used in crating applications including use as trays for 2D objects, or lightwieght inner boxes.
Also used in a wide variety of display applications where it's flatness is superior to the less expensive altermative Fomecor.
